Simplicity
This picture shows simplicity because there are only two colors in the picture, the green of the grass and the brown of the airplane doors. The focal point is obvious, which is the door and the windows in the door.
The Rule of Thirds
This follows the rule of thirds because the firemen are located on the bottom right third of the photo. The two firemen on the ladder are the focal point of the picture. The focal point, the firemen, are not in the center of the page.
Lines
This picture shows lines, which is shown in the window lines of the windows. The windows make the eye start at the top of the page and move down, making you see the man falling.
Balance
This shows balance because the picture is visually balanced. Although the crates aren't exactly centered, there is a shadow of a building and three wooden sticks in the right of the photo, evening out the picture.
Framing
This shows framing because the street lamp or the red building and the grey buildings encase the dust cloud from the explosion. This makes your eye be drawn to the top of the cloud.
Avoiding Mergers
This is a merger because the people on the left side of the picture got cut off, as the first woman only has half a face. There is also people in white shirts next to the white poles, making the outline of the two things blend together.
