First Day Photo Shoot

This is my picture of a "thing". I like how much the yellow flower stands out to the background. The blur of the background helped to contribute to that. I think that the clear subject matter, the flower, makes it a good picture. I do think that this could've been better if I had gone closer to the flower, making it take up more space. There's a little too much negative space, but I think it gives it a cool look. 

This is my picture of a person. I like how her sleeve has roses on it, and the sign says to "please enjoy the roses. This brings a sense of unity to the picture. I don't like how bright it is in the middle of the picture. I should've moved the border more towards the girl and less on the flowers, this left a lot of "negative space" on the left of the picture.
